During the field season, the field operations office in Kangerlussuaq is manned by 1-3 Field Operations Managers (FOMs).

The field operations office is the main communication link with regard to cargo, field participation, visitors, etc.

Mail to field participants can be sent to the FOM office and will be forwarded to the camp on the first available plane connection.

EastGRIP camp (open May-August)

The field leader can be contacted at fl@egrip.camp.

Many field participants can check e-mail from camp, but urgent and important messages to field participants can also be sent via the field leader e-mail address.

Iridium OpenPort telephone to EGRIP camp: + 8816 234 92110. Please notice that calling this number is very expensive - up to 10 $/minute. The iridium satellite handheld telephone numbers can be found in the field plan.
