During the field season, the field operations office in Kangerlussuaq is manned by 1-3 Field Operations Managers (FOMs).

The field operations office is the main communication link to the camp.

Mail to field participants can be sent to the FOM office and will be forwarded to the camp on the first available plane connection.

The field leader can be contacted at, but due to the high cost of this solution, large attachments may be removed.

Many field participants check e-mail regularly from camp, but urgent and important messages to field participants can also be sent via the field leader e-mail address.
