Nick in front of the carpenter sledge.
We are slowly preparing camp for close down August 13th. One of the first projects has been to lift all the timber to the overwintering sledge. Nick is enjoying the result. It is clear there still is a lot of timber for next year, where constructions in relation to the science trench will start.
What we have done today:
Ad. 1: Drill and logging depth: 117.5 m (7 runs (run 69-75) , 8.66 m )
Weather today: overcast with high clouds. Temperatures -24°C during night to -9°C during the day and dropping to -15°C in the evening. Wind 10 kn from W in the morning decreasing to 5 kn from NW during the rest of the day.
