Put-in team preparing the skiway markers for EGRIP in our warehouse.
Yesterday on April 22nd, the opening team (the so-called put-in team) arrived in Kangerlussuaq. The first inspection of cargo, food and medicine started.
Today the team has gathered in the warehouse to pack their field gear equipment and prepared the cargo for the EastGRIP camp. This includes preparing a new full set of new skiway markers. We expect the camp will be almost buried in snow, including all the skiway markers from when we left camp in 2019. Cargo for the put-in team was sorted, food packed and we are ready to build the pallet for EGRIP.
