Green Balloon

Green ballon inflated by Sverrir and Sepp.

In preparation of closing camp, the green balloon with a diameter of 5 m was inflated along the flag line in camp. In this position the balloon really looks large. Imagine this was the original shape of the drill and science trenches below the surface. The balloon has been deflated again and will be folded and packed on a pallet to overwinter at EGRIP.
The weather has been great today so after dinner and celebration of he Swiss National day with a wonderful cake baked by Barbara many spent the evening outdoor skiing, playing volleyball or visiting the double walled pit to see the snow layering.
