The next pallet

The daily stories are getting a little monotone – just more packing, pallet building and documenting… Today it was windy with groundfog and blue sky so we could not get down the ramps because they had filled in with drifting snow. Well – add one more windtight layer - and continue the outdoor work. Today we built a formidable pallet with a lot of camp items. Bunkbeds, chairs, shelves and items from the carpenters garage. A difficult pallet to keep under control until the nets were on and without doubt a nightmare for the FOMs when the pallet comes to kangerlussuaq.

What we did today:

1. Built the next pallet – the box pallet.
2. Documented boxes and pallets.
3. Sealed the Dome with snow.
4. Started to organize the timber sledge.
5. Started to document in the kitchen.

Weather: Overcast sunny spells and groundfog coming in and out. Nd light snow fall. Wind between 10 kt and 15 kt gusting 20 kt from W turning to WNW. Temperatures between -14°C and -7°C.
